- the main points of the article were that manipulating photos has always been happening, the question is whether the photoshop effects effects the ethicacy of the photo or whether it is changed so much that it is lying to the viewers
- big publications have strict guide lines when it comes to photoshop and they make the journalist turn i proof that the photos meet those guide lines
- i think that line is really unclear of what is ethical and what is unethical but in my opinion i think if you change the lighting or up the contrast a little, stuff like that, it doesn't matter. the only time i think it would be unethical is if they were selling some sort of product and the product was altered
- i think this is really bad because its just a copy and paste and Oprah is beautiful so i have no idea why they felt they needed to do this. it just feels like this took it too far and it was unnessary
- i honestly don't understand why they made such a big deal abut this one. all they did was squeeze it together to make it fit, the picture was not changed significantly.
