academic shoot reflection and critique

  1.  It was difficult for me to really concentrate on making the photos look good because I was really worried that I would disrupt the classes I was in.
  2. For some reason I had a really difficult time focusing the camera, I don't know why, it was just more difficult than it normally is. But then I realized the camera wasn't on auto focus and I turned it on and everything was good.
  3. If I could do this again, I would just focus more on making the pictures look cooler, like trying different angles and stuff like that.
  4. I think I did a good job of applying the rules of photography to the photos, so I probably wouldn't change that.
  5. For our next prompt, I feel like rule of thirds will be the easiest to do because it can really apply to anything we would be taking pictures of.
  6. I think the hardest rule to capture is lines because lines aren't everywhere so you have to really look for them.
  7. I'm still a little shaky on mergers and what specifically constitutes one, so I can just look on the power point again or ask some people.

  • I liked the simplicity of the photos and how she made good use of the light
  • I feel like the subject was a little unclear in some of the photos and maybe she could've played around with the angles to make the photos a bit more interesting
