- the man was pushed into the subway track by a crazy man who he was trying to calm down. the photographer just happened to be there and says he was trying to stop the train with his flash
- the photographer says he could see the man couldn't get out so he was trying to warn the train hoping that his flash would make it stop
- well i think the photographer should have at least tried to help, but that could have caused injury to himself and then two people would have died
- i think in his own mind what he did made sense to him, when a crazy thing happens in front of you their is no way to know how your gonna react
- i think if they got permission from the family it would be fine but if they didn't it would be really insensitive to show that and the family not be okay with it
- i think its both, you have to show people the bad things so hopefully the don't happen again
- yes i think if a photographer can help someone they should everyone should always put helping other humans before a picture
- no i think there has to be pictures of those events so they can influence the whole world as opposed to just that area
- i think its okay to take the photos as long as you know you can't do anything to stop the bad thing from happening

- rule of thirds- imagine there is a tic tac toe board on your screen and place your subject where the lines cross
- balance elements- if you have your subject on one side of the photo try and make it so there is another thing on the other side to balance it
- leading line- see if you can find lines that lead to your subject
- symmetry and patterns- try to make the picture as symmetrical as possible
- viewpoint- the point of view at which your picture is taken try to make it interesting
- background- try not to have too busy of a background make it simple
- create depth- because the cameras are 2D try and find ways to make it look more 3D
- framing- frame your subject using the environment around them
- cropping- crop out anything that could be distracting and only crop at the joints
- mergers and avoiding them- don't cut people off at the head and don't make it look like one person has two heads
shutter speed- decides how fast the lens is uncovered which helps determine how much light is in the photo
ISO- determines how clear the photo is the higher the iso though the grainier the photo
it is not ethical to copy and paste someones head on someone else's body but some minor changes are okay.
Environmental - a portrait of someone doing what they love to do
casual- just a fun picture not for anything special maybe doing a fun pose
formal- taken for professional reasons person usually just standing still
exposure- how much light is in the photo
depth of field- how the depth is perceived
focal length- how much the eye can focus on the subject
early- usually just a drawing with a title and one headline
poster- a very striking image with only that headline and the title
married to type- a picture with the title and two or three headlines
buried in the forrest of words- a cover that is blocked by words and has several headlines
